Why should we hire you?
You're hiring me to document a day or a moment that can't be repeated, it's high stakes. You want a photographer who believes that your moment should be photographed with passion, great care and technical mastery. If you are already on my website/Facebook page and reading this, I hope you like my style of photography. Photography is not only a business but a passion for me. Creating compelling, intimate images that exceeds your expectations is what I do. I know how to work with natural and artificial lighting, how to choose the best angle to freeze some magic moments that you can cherish forever. And so if the occasion is really important do consider hiring me so that your moments are captured in a fantastic way.

What gear do you use ? Do you bring your own Lighting?
I bring two latest Canon DSLR cameras along with a variety of lenses and flashes to handle different lighting situation. Depending on the occasion we also bring our own diffuser, umbrellas, soft box and other gear to meet the requirement.
Where does the session take place?
Typically sessions take place either outdoors or at the event location. For outdoor sessions, I’m happy to provide location suggestions for a great photoshoot. Travel is included for locations around Redmond/Bellevue area . For locations outside we might charge an extra fee.
Cake Smash photoshoot is done at studio only.
I only need a few pictures. Do you do mini –session?
I believe that photography should not be a rushed experience. I find that when we have time to settle into the session , you get used to the camera and me and then we’re able to create more authentic portraits. For these reasons, I don’t offer mini-sessions.
However, I do offer special events from time to time, and the best way to find out about those is by following me on Facebook.
HELP!!! I'm not photogenic at all!
Believe it or not, pretty much EVERYONE tells me this before their session, and it never turns out to be true! Trust me you are beautiful/handsome. I love coaching my clients through having their photos taken, and I have a lot of tricks up my sleeve to make you look fabulous! When you’re having a great time, you’ll look more beautiful than you thought was possible. I promise! 🙂
What should I wear?
We provide a complimentary pre-shoot consultation session over phone/video call to discuss more about this. I will help you in selecting clothes, makeup , props etc. that will help bring out the gorgeous you. Just remember these photographs will last for a lifetime, so we really want you to look your best.
Do you edit all of our photographs?
Yes, I do! Every image that you receive has been hand-edited, one at a time, without batching in bulk groups or mass-producing the results. This involves color correction, exposure adjustment, clarity adjustments, tone-mapping, and other corrections.
Do we receive the raw, unedited files?
No, we do not provide raw, unedited files . We only provide selected, edited high-resolution digital files for download. During the shoot we sometimes take a few extra shots to make sure we have the perfect focus, your eyes are not closed or you have the best expression. During post processing we eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions and other images that do not look flattering. With our expertise of processing thousands of images each year, we eliminate the ones that we feel are duplicates and only deliver the best ones.
How far in advance do we need to book?
ASAP. Its much harder to find a slot closer to the shoot date. Typically the spring (March, April, May) and fall (September, October, November) months, as well as weekends, always fill up sooner. So the earlier you book the better it is. For Cake Smash photography you need to book at least 2-3 weeks in advance so that we have enough time to prepare/customize the set to your expectations.
Do you have a second photographer that comes with you?
I shoot alone, however my partner normally joins me on the shoot. He assists with lighting, organizing, and managing other logistics for the shoot.
How many pictures will we receive?
The number of photographs taken depends on many things - hours of coverage, type of event that we are shooting etc. We will give you the approximate number of photos that we would deliver when you book. If you have questions about image quantity, I'd love to hear more about your plans! This would help me provide you with a more detailed explanation and estimate.
How will we receive our images?
You’ll get a link to an online gallery from where you can download all the photos directly. You will have 3 weeks to download the photos.
Is sales tax included in the pricing?
Sales tax is already baked into my pricing, so the pricing I let you know always includes the sales tax.
